REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL WEATHERIZATION FURNACE, FRIDGE & FREEZER MATERIAL BID NOTICE C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation is now accepting bids for weatherization material to be used for the weatherization of approximately 130 homes during a nine month period beginning October 1, 2013 and concluding June 30, 2014. All bids must be submitted using the C.E.F.S. bid packet. Bid packets will be issued to any vendor who attends the informational meeting to be held September 3, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM or requests one in writing from C.E.F.S. The request should be sent to C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation/Weatherization Program, PO Box 928, Effingham, Illinois 62401. All requests for bid packets must be received in the C.E.F.S. office no later than 9:00 AM on September 3, 2013 and will be mailed after the informational meeting. Vendors must call our office at 217-342-2193, ext. 124 or 156 by 9:00 AM on September 18, 2013 to register their company for the meeting. All bid packets must be completed and returned to the C.E.F.S. office no later than September 18, 2013, at 9:00 AM. All bids must be marked Sealed Bid. A public bid opening will be held on September 18 2013, at C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation office located at 1805 South Banker, Effingham, Illinois at 9:00 AM.
